What does I-CAR certified mean?
I-CAR stands for Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair.  It was founded in 1979 as an international, not for profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.  Technicians that are certified, must prove work experience, take classes and pass exams for certification.  Certifications expire frequently, so the technician must get re-certified. In addition, an I-CAR certified shop, means that technicians receive ongoing training annually.  I-CAR certifications, ensure that the technicians will not only restore your vehicle’s appearance but make sure safety standards are also met.
